Impressive Metal Owl Sculpture by Harold Breit with Yellow Glass Eyes

I am beyond impressed by these pictures of an owl sculpture that Harold Breit from Burlington, Canada sent me. If you look close (it took me a second!) you'll realize that most or all of the metal this sculpture is made out of is crafted from forks and spoons! Duck in the Reeds Wooden Bowl Sculpture by Maurice Clabaugh

When Maurice Clabaugh of Tuscaloosa AL shared this "Duck in the Reeds" wooded bowl sculpture with me, I knew I had to share it here on the blog. According to the bio on Maurice's website, he "uses wood that has been discarded by others as useless or impossible to turn. Community Mosaic of Green Man Organized by Artist Lisa Tiemann Created with Glass Eyes by Megan Petersen

Melrose artist Lisa Tiemann and her dog, Cora, with the Green Man mosaic outside her home, photographed by Amanda Hurley Tiemann spearheaded the community mosaic project for Cedar Park, Melrose, as outlined in this article by Amanda Hurley. A total of 35 artists worked on the project, coming together to create a masterpiece that celebrates human connection to nature. Also contributing to the project are several pairs of brilliant glass eye cabochons from handmadeglasseyes.com. At the center of the mosaic are a pair of large, detailed green and blue glass eyes, offering themselves as a focal point for the whole design....
